This morning, something amazing happened :) I was scrolling through the Netgalley Teen &YA catalog, randomly looking for some new books to get excited for when suddenly... I skimmed the title of this book and realized - this was not Confessions of an Angry Girl! It's a sequel! Yay! Up until now, I didn't even realize there'd be more books about Rose. Ha, this makes me so happy! If you have not read the first book, you really should. It's a really nice, entertaining read that I wasn't able to put down.
...but if she’s not careful, she’s also going to be the sister who misses the signals, the daughter who can only think about her own pain, the “good girl” who finds herself in mid-scandal again (because no good deed goes unpunished) and possibly worst of all...the almost-girlfriend.
When all else fails, stop looking for love and go find yourself.
Hm, never heard of this one before but it does sound pretty good.
ReplyDeleteHope you get it soon, and thanks for stopping by :)
Doesn't sound like my kind of read but I still hope you enjoy it once you read it!

Thanks :) I hope so, too!
DeleteThis one sounds very angsty haha. I don't think angsty is a word but, yea. I haven't head of this one before. I hope you get it soon! I am also a new follower via GFC :)

Thanks so much for your comment and follow :) I guess I know what you mean (though I don't know, either, if angsty is a word). The first book was very well done, though. I liked the mix of a witty outlook on highschool drama and the serious message behind it.
DeleteHmmm, I believe I heard of this before. I haven't read Confessions of an Angry Girl before, but I got it on Netgalley. It seems good, but I don't know. Maybe I'll pick it up.
ReplyDeleteIf you like contemporary, you should! I didn't really think I'd like it or that it would be special somehow, but I ended up really enjoying the story!
DeleteI just seen this on Netgalley, but have not read the other book or books? They sound pretty good though :)! Thanks for stopping by My WW!

You're welcome! I, at least, liked the first book quite a lot. I just hope number two is just as good :)
DeleteI've never heard of this book (or the first), but I like the sound of it! Lately, I've been enjoying books about "real" girls figuring out their lives (no secret powers, no dystopian worlds..). I'll have to check out #1 -- thanks for the recommendation!

Hehe, I like that "no secret powers, no dystopian worlds"! That's why I turn to contemporary at times. I'm not always up for it, but there are moments when I just need a story that relates to my own life rather than one that distracts me from it :)
DeleteI'm super excited for this one! I loved the first book! :D

It was great, wasn't it? And I personally didn't even expect it to be that good. It was more like a "blahh...maybe" read for me. However, when I actually started it, it went by like nothing :)
DeleteI was approved on NetGalley to read this and i was so excited!! The first book was one of the first that I requested off of NetGalley when I was a brand new blogger. Can't wait to get this book started!
