#FridayReads

Hey, everyone!
I know, I know. Those of you who are as OCD as I am are probably having Trouble staying on their chairs, beds or whatever you guys sit on right now, because - yup! - for once I'm breaking my Blogging schedule.
Which is something I really don't like to do as it throws me out of my Routine and order and then I have to rethink everything and...it confuses my brain :)
But on to the actual reason for all the confusion. It's pretty simple, actually...Usually I'd participate in Feature & Follow Friday today, but I did not understand the question for this week.
The possible reasons for this could be...
a) the term "Mardi Grass" is American which is why I don't understand it
b) the term "Mardi Grass" is not American, but as I am pretty much unable to live in any Kind of world apart from fictional ones I've probably never encountered this one...

The fact that I can't participate in F&F is actually quite practical today as I really Need your help this Weekend. I don't have School on ´Monday which means I've got a lot of extra time on my Hands and really want to read...I just don't know what.

I could read the next two books in the Evermore Series by Alyson Noel or the next three installments in the Vampire Academy Series by Richelle Mead. Or I could read Entice by Jessica Shirvington, The Diviners by Libba Bray or Pandemonium by Lauren Oliver...now - what do you guys think? Which book is best for a Long, nothing-to-do-but-read-snowstorm-weekend? What are you guys reading??? I'd love to know!

Pandemonium (Delirium, #2)The Diviners (The Diviners, #1)Frostbite (Vampire Academy, #2)

By the way the title of this post does have a history and is not my Invention. Originally, it was/is a hashtag on Twitter, then Bunny Cates brought it into the Youtube community and now I'm using it for a lack of a better title for this post...please forgive me, leave book suggestions in the comments and have a wonderful Weekend!

(Also, I have no idea why my Computer decided to use capital letters as we do in German - but I can't make it stop!)

  1. Well, the only one I've read is Pandemonium so I'll suggest that one. :) It is unputdownable.

I'm reading Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi. Yay! So excited.

Whichever one you pick, I hope you enjoy.

    Have a great weekend!

P.s. As an American, Mardi Gras represents the festivities in New Orleans for me, although it's celebrated on a much smaller scale in other cities in the US. However, there are several countries that hold "Mardi Gras" celebrations - they just usually have a different name for it. Mardi Gras is held on Fat Tuesday (also known as Shrove Tuesday). It's traditionally a celebration before Lent begins on Ash Wednesday.

    1. Hey - thanks sooo much for the info! That's exactly what I love about blogging - learning about stuff that's (geographically) way too far away :)

  2. My vote is for Vampire Academy! When I read the first book about a year ago, I didn't know if I was going to like it or not, especially since I wasn't crazy about the cover. I ended up loving the series as well as the spin-off, Bloodlines. I hope you're enjoying VA so far!

    1. I know - I've read the first one and I really want to continue...I just need to find the time, because I think this is a series that I'd love to read back to back... :) But I'll get to it soon-ish! Thanks for the help!

  3. I read Pandemonium just last month. It was a pretty quick and intense read, much better than the first book!

    1. And Requiem is coming out next month, right? Woah, time is flying by...I hope I'll get to Pandemonium next week - and that I can remember everything that happened in Delirium!
