Top Ten Bookish Crushes

Now, this is a topical matter :) For some reason, as spring finally comes about, I find myself craving for hot male characters (so much even, that I don't really care about the story anymore). So here are my top ten characters that I would crush on if I were a fictional character, as well.

1) Dimitri from the Vampire Academy series
I'm just reading Frostbite and...I love him. Really, I do.

2) Ash from The Iron King by Julie Kagawa
This one was a lot more subtle. At first, I didn't know what to think of him, but after a while he felt more and more sympathetic. Also, I liked him a lot better than witty - and a bit too energetic - Puck.

3)Prince Kai from The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer
I think I like him so much, because like Ash, he is very loyal, very strong and responsible. He always tries to do what he thinks is best for everyone and in that way he is way beyond his years :)

4) Lincoln from the Violet Eden Chapters series by Jessica Shirvington
Admittedly, Lincoln is absolutely not my type and I would never fall for him in real life, but if I were to be Violet and he was my mentor, I think I'd be head over heals into him...

5) Jace Wayland from The Mortal Instruments Series by Cassandra Clare
It's the sarcasm. I swear. No one makes me laugh like Jace does. I wouldn't mind how rude and weird he can be, if he only never loses his wit ;)

6)Ethan from the Caster Chronicles by Kami Garcia and Margeret Stohl
It's true, Ethan and I would never last as a couple. He's too nice, too caring and that would eventually make me uncomfortable. However, reading about his ever-forgiving and selfless personality, I couldn't help myself. I think he's cute.

7)Jack from Everneath by Brodi Ashton
I wasn't interested in Jack at all, in the beginning, but he grew on me as the story developed. The way he cared for Nikki and how he believed in her, his brother's story - all that made him just a great guy, and - if not boyfriend material - at least a very good friend.

8) Roar from Under the Never Sky by Veronika Rossi
Frankly, the one thing I loved most about Rossi's trilogy (so far) was her novella about Roar and Liv - those two are just the cutest couple ever and if I were to be Liv...I'd totally marry Roar. Las Vegas style -if I had to.

9) Kyle from Beastly by Alex Flinn
The perfect beast in the beginning, but he grew so much as a character that I was absolutely sad to leave him (and Lindy) behind when I was done with the book.

10) Noah from Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry
By now you should have noticed that this list absolutely isn't in any particular order. Noah is just...swoon worthy. Wonderful. Protective of his brothers so much that it hurts. I also like that he wouldn't give up everything for Echo. He has ideals, dreams and goals and he goes for them no matter what.

  1. Oh I love your list! There are so many good one! Ash, Jack, Roar, Jace and Dimitri! Sadly none of them made my list! But I do love them, there just isn't enough room for all of them.

  2. Oh Noah is so swoon worthy! How he sacrifices so much for his younger brothers!

  3. Okay so I don't feel the same way about Kyle. I couldn't stand him even in the end, but you know...everyone is different! :) I do love Prince Kai, Jace and Ethan though! They're just so...swoonworthy! :)

  4. Great picks. I still have to read many of the books on your list though.

    Thanks for stopping by! :)
