Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Series I Want to Start But Haven't Yet

Can I just quickly state how much I love this week's topic? I can't wait to see all of your picks...and I don't know if ten is enough to list all of mine!

Already on my shelf:

1) Heist Society Series by Ally Carter
2) Graceling Series (Trilogy?) by Kristin Cashore
3) Ashes Trilogy by Ilsa J. Bick
4) Leviathan by Scott Westerfeld
5) The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin
6) The Paranormalcy Series by Kiersten White
7) The Rot & Ruin Series by Jonathan Maberry
8) The Gone Series by Michael Grant
9) The Iron Fey Series by Julie Kagawa
10) The Blood of Eden Series by Julie Kagawa

And the ones I'm dying tio put on my shelf:

11) The Shatter Me Trilogy by Tahereh Mafi
12) The Daughter of Smoke and Bone Series by Laini Taylor
13) The Newsoul Trilogy by Jodi Meadows
14)The Covenant Series by J.L Armentrout
15)The Lux Series by J.L Armentrout
16)The Secrets of the Eternal Rose Series by Fiona Paul
17) The Bright Young Things series by Anna Godbersen
18) The Chemical Garden Series by Lauren Destefano
19)The Unraveling trilogy by Elizabeth Norris
20) The Gallagher Girls Series by Ally Carter

Phew...Looking back at this, it's kind of intimidating. Also, I'm not even halfway through them all...

Which series do you want to start but haven't yet? What's keeping you from it? And do you read series back to back or does it take you forever to finish one (like me)? Happy Tuesday everyone!

  1. Amazing list! The Iron Fey and The Newsoul Trilogy are on my list too but now that I've read yours I'll have to add more to my wishlist! I really need to read Leviathan as it's on my bookshelf and Ashes looks really good too! So many series it is not fair that times doesn't slow down! :P

    1. That's what I think, too! there are so many books I still want to read and the problem with series - obviously - is that there are so many more books :) Ha, it's really hard to keep up,I think!

  2. I've read a few of these books. Loved Paranormalcy. It's a fun read. Rot & Ruin was awesome. And Blood of Eden. LOVED Immortal Rule. Smoke & Bone was pretty awesome. I haven't read the sequel yet though. LOVE Lauren DeStefano. Just sayin'. I just finished Unraveling a couple of weeks ago.

That's a big list though! Hope you can get to them at some point.

  3. So if I was going to tell you which ones to focus on first (which I am of course :p ) I'd say Graceling and the Gallagher Girls! They're totally different reads, but both are on my favorites list! I also haven't read Paranormalcy or Gone or the Iron Fey books. We both have some fun reading ahead of us :)

    1. So true! But before I get to the Gallagher Girls, I'm going to have to read the Heist Society books on my shelf - have you read those?

  4. I've come to the conclusion that I'd rather find a series and commit to it, after all the books have been published. With some series it is just too hard to wait for the next book. You look like you have your work cut out for you with this list.

I've got the second "Daughter of Smoke and Bone" book on my nightstand right now. I really liked the first book.

    1. Great plan in theory, but I could just never, ever stick to it! Even if I leave them on my shelf for months, I have to have new books in series right away :)

  5. Wow, that's a lot! But by all means, start the Graceling books. You will have no regrets!

  6. I'm dying to read Daughter of Smoke and Bone! Paranormalcy is an awesome series. Lux is pretty good - it reminds me of Downton Abbey a little bit. Great picks!

  7. Great list! Oh and I love, love love the Lux series, I recommend starting with that one! I haven't started the Covenant series yet either. I started the Iron Fey series but haven't read them all because I don't have all the books yet.

Happy reading, hope you find the time to read them all! :)

    1. I hope for that, too! Some time, at least. And I guess whenever I start a new series it's going to be Graceling first and then the Lux/Covenant series :)
