Bout of Books 6.0 Goal Post

Bout of Books Read-a-Thon

Official Blurb:
The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, January 7th and runs through Sunday, January 13th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure, and the only reading competition is between you and your usual number of books read in a week. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 6.0 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog.

It's that time again...

Those of you who have been following my blog for a little while know that I love, love, love Bout of Books. 4.0 was my first Read-a-Thon ever and I had soo much fun! I participated in 5.0 and that was just as awesome. It's just something about this Read-a-Thon that makes it so different from other virtual book events (at least for me).
Anyway, the point of this post is: I'm participating again! Tomorrow is the beginning of BoB 6.0 and I'm on board for the third time.
My goals this time? Reading? Not so much. I am actually very happy about my reading progress so far. What I really want to do this time, though, is interact with other bloggers more. I want to participate in challenges, comment on other blogs and most of all: start using Twitter!!!
So, my goal is to visit Twitter at least five times a day and to participate in as many Twitter Chats as I can. And for the reading part...the books I will try to get to are:

Clockwork Angel (The Infernal Devices, #1)Clockwork Prince (The Infernal Devices, #2)Shadowhunters and Downworlders: A Mortal Instruments Reader

(Hehe-you get a theme here?)

But I don't want to pressure myself reading-wise. For me it's really about meeting new people!

  1. I LOVE that your goal is to interact more with people! The Twitter chats are definitely the best way to do this, seriously, I think I must have Tweeted 200 times within an hour. And, I followed like 20 new people, and got as many followers. It's so great to meet new people that way! However, I need to check Twitter less... I use it so much, and it's become too addicting! But I think it's neat that one of your goals is to check Twitter 5 times. ;)

Good luck with your goals and happy reading! <3

    1. Hey there! Yeah, that was just something I thought of, because the main reason I started blogging was because I wanted to share my thoughts about books with other people and yet, I find myself alone with a book in my room soo often - I should change that :)

  2. Great goal with Twitter! I was at work and missed the chat today, but I'm hoping to at least participate in one of the two remaining chats. Good luck!

    1. Hi! I didn't get to enjoy the whole thing, either, but I joined the last fifteen minutes and that alone was a lot of fun. I hope you find the time to participate in the other two, because it's great every. single. time :D
