Q: The #FF is 150 weeks old! And we want to hear from you! What would you change about the hop? What do you like about it? Or just suggest a question to be used for next week!
150 weeks? Really? That's amazing! Congratulations to the hosts, for keeping it up for so long and also for the variety of questions they come up with every week! Actually, the only thing I'd change about the hop is related to the participants. I really think it's such a great opportunity to start conversations and make new friends, but many people just comment, follow and leave for good. I'd rather have it less about the following and more about getting to know each other. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend :)
Greetings,

Nice! I can't believe it's 150 weeks either!

You make a good point. Although I find it hard to keep up with all the blogs I follow. Plus sometimes they'll read a book that's outside my genre or one that didn't really catch my interest, so I usually skip over the review.
ReplyDeleteI think we almost need some other kind of post where we can all communicate, but I guess that's what the memes are for.

There really are far too many Blogs I like and that I follow to leave a super Long and meaningful comment on each and everyone, that's true! And I do usually skip the 100th Review of Cinder that I stumble upon because I already know how everyone is amazed by that novel :) Then again, if I comment - and especially on memes- I try to make it meaningful, since, after all, I comment to start a converation and get to know new People :)
DeleteI love the interaction and making new bookish friends as well. :)
ReplyDelete- New follower!
I think it's great to have hundreds of Bloggers laid out in front of you each week :) It really is an awesome opportunity!
DeleteI agree, my favorite part of the hop are the comments. I'm not a big fan of just following, I'd rather make friends and start relationships with other bloggers...

Yup, that's exactly what I feel like, too! I'd rather have fewer comments - and comment on fewer Blogs myself, but then have it be meaningful comments that do have the potential to start new conversations and really meet new People!
