1) Perfect by Ellen Hopkins
This book was not only crazy and roller-coaster - like to read, it also left me thinking over my own life and my thoughts. It features such an important topic - I think every teen - boy and girl - should read this book. And adults, too, of course.
2) Sarah Dessen Books
I mean, you guys know I love Sarah Dessen. And anyone who has ever read a book by her knows they're not typical tough issue books. They do, however, often enough feature serious topics while still being amazingly positive. At the end of each of her books I always feel like everything will be good and okay eventually and that's why I love Dessen's novels so much.
(Lock and Key, Just Listen, The Truth About Forever, Someone Like You)
3) Impulse by Ellen Hopkins
Also very good, though not as strong message - wise as Perfect was, I'd say.
4) Dear Bully (Anthology)
This book is perfection. Seriously, this is some kind of bible for everyone who has ever felt left out, ignored, played with or bullied. I have not read anything more empowering, I don't think.
5) Zoey Letting Go by Nora Price
This one has an interesting take and an - although expected pretty early - twist at the end that might surprise you. It's definitely different.
Sorry, guys. That's it already. I really only wanted to add the books that really mean something to me.
